Kumarganj College proudly runs an active NCC unit that shapes cadets into disciplined, confident, and socially responsible citizens. Through regular training, camps, and community service, our cadets learn leadership, teamwork, and patriotism beyond the classroom.
ANO (Associate NCC officer)
Lieutenant Ashesh Subba
Our Associate NCC Officer, Lt. Ashesh Subba, guides and mentors’ cadets with dedication and commitment. Under his leadership, the unit focuses on parade drills, physical training, weapon handling, map reading, first aid, and personality development. He ensures every cadet gets opportunities to grow and represent the college at battalion and state-level events.
NCC Activities at Kumarganj College:
- Parade & Drill Training: Weekly drills to build discipline, coordination, and marching skills
- CATC & ATC Camps: Cadets attended Combined Annual Training Camps and Annual Training Camps for field training and exposure.
- Republic Day Celebration
ON 26.01.2025 Republic Day was celebrated at Kumarganj college. NCC Cadets performed Parade.
- World environment day was observed by planting the sampling in the campus by the NCC cadets on 5th June 2025.
- Thal Sainik Camp 2025
NCC Cadet Joya Murmu from our unit was selected to represent our institution at the Thal Sainik Camp [TSC], held at Namchi from 14th May 2025 to 12th April 2025.
- Trekking Camp (Girls) 2025
Cadet Tithi Roy from our unit was selected to represent our institution at the All-India west Bengal & Sikkim Trekking Camp (Girls)2025, held at Namchi from from 12.12.2025 to 19.12.2015
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELERATIONS
To mark International Yoga Day. NCC cadets performed various types of asanas on 21.06.2026 at College premises.
